Position Overview:

The Talent Acquisition Specialist will play a crucial role in sourcing, attracting, and hiring skilled candidates for various blue-collar roles. This position is ideal for someone with 1-2 years of experience in recruiting for blue-collar jobs, who understands the unique challenges of this market and is passionate about finding the right talent to support our operational needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Candidate Sourcing: Leverage multiple channels, including job boards, social media, referrals, and local community networks, to identify and attract top talent for blue-collar roles.

  • Screening and Selection: Conduct initial screenings, evaluate candidates’ qualifications, and coordinate interviews with hiring managers to ensure a seamless recruitment process.

  • Job Posting Management: Create and manage job postings that accurately reflect the requirements of each role and resonate with potential candidates.

  • Interview Coordination: Schedule and facilitate interviews, ensuring timely communication with all parties involved and a positive candidate experience.

  • Candidate Communication: Maintain ongoing communication with candidates throughout the hiring process, providing updates and managing expectations.

  • Database Maintenance: Keep our applicant tracking system (ATS) up-to-date with candidate information and status updates to ensure accurate reporting and compliance.

  • Recruitment Marketing: Assist in enhancing the company’s employer brand by promoting our values, culture, and opportunities to potential candidates.

  • Compliance: Ensure all recruitment processes comply with company policies and local labor laws.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: 1-2 years of experience in talent acquisition, specifically in recruiting for blue-collar positions.

  • Knowledge: Understanding of the unique challenges and strategies related to blue-collar recruitment.

  • Skills: Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.

  • Technical Proficiency: Experience using applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other recruitment tools.

  • Education: A degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.-
