Transportation Manager

Job Summary:

The Transportation Manager is responsible for ensuring the efficiency of all transportation activities entering and leaving Filinvest City (FC). He/she shall conduct comprehensive transportation management studies to optimize pedestrian and vehicular traffic flow and enhance safety within Filinvest City. Additionally, he/she shall maintain the cleanliness and organization of the South Station Terminal (SST) and enforce sanctions on transport operators or drivers registered with SST who violate terminal rules and regulations. This role plays a critical part in ensuring smooth transportation operations and adherence to national and local laws, regulations, and established standards within Filinvest City.

The Transportation Manager shall maintain close communication with national and local government offices and agencies to support Filinvest City's transportation operations.

KEY FUNCTIONS/DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. KEY ACCOUNTABILITY FOR FILINVEST CITY (FC)

• Review, improve and update the traffic management system of FC
• Review and recommend the provision of pay parking areas within FC and to ensure that No Street Parking policy is strictly implemented.
• Recommend a comprehensive transportation and pedestrian management plan based on engineering principles and best practices.
• Application of best road safety engineering relevant to road construction and/or any road works and repairs.
• Implementation of all applicable laws and ordinances pertaining to traffic management and safety.
• Coordinate with government offices and agencies related to transportation (e.g. DOTr, LTO, LTFRB, MMDA, PNP, HPG, Local units, etc.)

2. KEY ACCOUNTABILITY FOR SOUTH STATION TERMINAL (SST)

• Manage the public transport terminal within FC particularly the South Station Terminal.
• Coordinate regularly with public Transport Groups and Companies for the orderly management of public transportation within FC.
• Market the transport terminal to transport operators.
• Review and screen prospective transport operators capability in terms of financial standing, safety and road worthiness of their transport fleets, etc.

TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES AND SKILLS:

• Has a positive attitude, able to deal with different people or situations and sincerity in relationships that will endear others towards him/her.
• Must be proficient in English both written and oral.
• Must be able to handle customers complaints and inquiries.
• Has knowledge in operating Canva, Zoom, Microsoft Office applications (MS Word, MS Excel MS Power Point, Teams)

EDUCATION, TRAININGS, LICENSES REQUIRED:
- Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's/College Degree of any course.

- At least 5 year(s) of work experience in the Property Development/Real Estate Management, Traffic Engineering & Management, Transportation Planning & Management, or any related field is required for this position.

- Preferably Assistant Manager/Manager specialized in Property/Real Estate or equivalent.
